These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Rankoup. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.
1. Platform Description
Rankoup is a community-driven marketplace platform that allows users to create listings, browse items, rank content, and communicate with other users.
Rankoup does not buy, sell, store, ship, verify, or guarantee any items listed on the platform.
All transactions, agreements, and interactions occur directly between users.
2. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your listings and content
- Your interactions with other users
- Any transactions you enter into
- Any losses, disputes, or damages arising from use of the platform
Rankoup does not mediate disputes, process payments, or verify users.
3. No Liability for Transactions or Scams
Rankoup is not responsible for:
- Scams, fraud, or misrepresentation
- Non-delivery, damaged goods, or payment disputes
- Loss of money, items, or data
- Any agreements made between users
You acknowledge that using a peer-to-peer marketplace involves inherent risk.
Any transaction you choose to enter into is done at your own discretion and risk.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Rankoup to:
- Post illegal, stolen, or prohibited items
- Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive behavior
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Manipulate rankings, votes, or metrics
- Upload malware, exploits, or harmful code
- Bypass platform safeguards or access controls
Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal.
5. Content & Listings
You retain ownership of content you create.
By posting content on Rankoup, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, host, and distribute that content solely for operating the platform.
Rankoup reserves the right to remove or restrict content at any time, with or without notice.
6. Rankings, Votes & Visibility
Listings may be ranked or displayed using automated systems.
Rankoup makes no guarantees regarding visibility, ranking position, or exposure of any listing.
Rankings and metrics may change at any time.
7. Credits, Paid Features, Promotions & Upgrades
Rankoup may offer paid platform features, including but not limited to credit purchases, listing promotions, category promotions, boosted placements, recommended cluster placements, seller verification requests, and account upgrades.
Paid features are provided to improve access to platform tools and visibility features, but they do not guarantee any sale, message, click, ranking position, response, transaction outcome, or business result.
By purchasing credits or using credits on Rankoup, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Credits are a platform balance usable only for services and features offered by Rankoup
- Credits have no cash value outside the platform and are not a bank, stored-value, or deposit product
- Credits are non-transferable between users unless explicitly allowed by Rankoup
- Credits may only be used for eligible platform services, promotions, and upgrades
All purchases of credits, promotions, verification requests, and paid upgrades are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Rankoup determines in its sole discretion that a refund, reversal, or credit adjustment is appropriate.
Rankoup does not guarantee that any paid promotion or upgrade will result in:
- A specific number of impressions, clicks, views, messages, or conversions
- A specific placement, ranking, or amount of exposure
- A completed sale or improved transaction outcome
- Verification approval
Any metrics shown to users, including but not limited to views, impressions, clicks, or other performance data, are provided for informational purposes only and may be delayed, estimated, filtered, adjusted, or corrected by our systems.
Rankoup reserves the right to:
- Set, change, or remove pricing for credits, promotions, upgrades, and paid features at any time
- Set limits, duration rules, inventory caps, rotation logic, and eligibility requirements for paid features
- Reject, pause, remove, limit, or cancel a promotion, upgrade, or verification request that violates these Terms or creates platform risk
- Correct technical errors, billing mistakes, credit balance mistakes, or promotional delivery issues
- Reverse credits or benefits obtained through abuse, fraud, chargebacks, manipulation, or system misuse
If a paid feature is removed, denied, interrupted, or limited because of a violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, platform abuse, safety concerns, legal concerns, or user misconduct, Rankoup may refuse any refund or credit return to the extent permitted by law.
Account upgrades and similar recurring paid features may be limited by available credit balance. If sufficient credits are not available at the relevant renewal time, Rankoup may downgrade, cancel, pause, or limit the applicable paid feature without liability.
You are responsible for reviewing the pricing, duration, scope, and eligibility of a paid feature before purchase or activation.
8. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion
- Remove content that violates these Terms
- Limit access to protect the platform or users
Termination may occur without prior notice in cases of abuse or risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Rankoup is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no warranties regarding:
- Accuracy of listings
- User behavior
- Availability or uptime
- Security or error-free operation
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankoup shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business
- User disputes or transactions
- Unauthorized access or data loss
Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rankoup, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your content or listings
- Your violation of these Terms
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable local law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
